o Cancel and re-order home services such as milk delivery, dry cleaning, gardening, newspaper delivery, diaper service, magazine subscriptions, etc.
o Prepare a list of friends, relatives and business accounts and arrange to send Change of Address cards to all. Be sure to include:
o StarPhoenix
o Post Office
o Sask. Motor Vehicles Registration
o Insurance companies for fire, life and auto
o Family Allowance office
o Accontants
o Finance companies and banks
o Credit and charge card accouts
o Medical, dental and optical clinics
o Arrange school transfers.

o Separate School Board, 652-6464
o Transfer trust and/or bank accounts. Arrange a letter of introduction to establish new accounts.
o Cancel all pre-authorized cheques and order new blank cheques.
o Cancel or transfer social, athletic, civic or religious memberships.
o Arrange for cleaning, servicing and possible storage for furs, dry cleaning, appliances, etc.
o Arrange for care and safety of pets during the move.
o Obtain a supply of moving boxes and devise a coding system for various rooms.
Final Inspection
o Turn down furnace
o Turn all lights off
o Ensure all doors & windows are shut and locked
o Discontinue telephone service
o Ensure that alarm service has been disconnected

o First Aid Kit
o Instant tea, coffee, juice and snacks for kids
o Paper towels, J-Cloths, Kleenex and toilet paper

o Toys/books To occupy small children
